    Frequently Asked Questions

How many sensors can be connected to one wireless device?
ROSSMA® IIOT-AMS Analog Ex X4 has 4 independent channels for sensors with 4-20 mA, Pt1000, Ni1000, and TK5000 interfaces. Each channel is polled individually.
What is the battery life with 4 channels?
Up to 3 years with a 14 Ah battery and 10-minute measurement interval. Higher-capacity battery packs and a solar power supply kit are available for extended operation.
Why is a 4-channel device more cost-effective than four single-channel ones?
Savings on equipment, installation, and maintenance: one enclosure, one battery, one radio point instead of four. Especially effective for well pads where multiple sensors are located nearby.
Can it be used in hazardous areas?
Yes. Certified 1Ex e IIC T4 Gb X for hazardous zones 1 and 2. IP66. An Outdoor IP65 general-purpose version is also available.
What is the operating temperature range?
Operating range −55…+85 °C. Suitable for Arctic conditions and high-temperature environments.
    What mounting options are available?
Cable tie mounting, DIN rail, or wall mount. Enclosure dimensions 120×120×90 mm or 260×160×90 mm depending on configuration.
