ROSSMA® IIOT-AMS Leak Detector detects water contact and instantly sends an alarm via LoRaWAN. No wires or external power required — operates autonomously on a built-in battery.
What is the battery life?
Up to 5 years from a 3.6 V lithium battery. The device stays in standby with minimal power consumption and activates upon leak detection.
What is the leak alert transmission range?
Up to 15 km via LoRaWAN. Alerts reach ROSSMA IIOT-NETS server and are forwarded via SMS, email, Telegram, or dispatch system.
Where can the wireless leak detector be installed?
In rooms at risk of flooding: server rooms, basements, water supply nodes, under pipelines, near valves. Indoor rated. Operating temperature −10…+55 °C.
Is a LoRaWAN base station required?
Yes, a LoRaWAN base station (e.g., VEGA 2.2 or RAK 7289CV2) and ROSSMA IIOT-NETS software are required to receive data.
