Description:
The Vega BS-2.2 base station is designed for deploying a LoRaWAN® network on 863-870 MHz frequencies. The base station is the central element of a LoRaWAN® technology-based network and operates as a transparent gateway between end devices and the server.
Base station power and server communication are provided through Ethernet, and the BS-2.2 also includes a 3G modem supporting:
Dual-Band UMTS (WCDMA/FDD)
900 and 2100 MHz
Dual-Band GSM
900 and 1800 MHz
Another feature of the Vega BS-2.2 base station is the GPS/GLONASS module.
The base station has pre-installed firmware based on the Linux operating system.
When working with the base station, it is recommended to use the 868-01-A10 antenna with 10 dBm power.
The specified range characteristics were achieved in various field experiments. Actual range depends on many factors and requires measurement in specific conditions using a network tester. The Vega BS-2.2 base station has been granted Russian-origin telecommunications equipment (TORP) status. Compliant with GOST R 71168-2023 “Information Technology. Internet of Things. LoRaWAN RU Specification”. The product is listed in the Unified Registry of Russian Radio-Electronic Products (PP RF No. 878).
