What is the difference between Ex db and standard Ex e versions?
Ex db is a flameproof enclosure that withstands an internal explosion without propagating it. Ex e is increased safety. Ex db provides a higher protection level and is approved for coal mines.
Can it be used in coal mines?
Yes. ROSSMA® IIOT-AMS Analog Ex db has dual certification: 1Ex db IIC T5 Gb X for industrial hazardous zones and PB Ex db I Mb X for underground mines. AISI 316 stainless steel enclosure for mining version.
What is the battery life?
Up to 10 years from FANCO ER34615M battery (3.6 V / 14 Ah). Capacity up to 40,000 data packets. External DC 3.3 V power also available.
What sensors can be connected?
One channel for active and passive instruments with 4-20 mA and HART interface. Polling period from 30 seconds.
What is the operating temperature range?
Operating range −55…+80 °C. IP66. Dimensions: 256 × 109 × 64 mm. Enclosure — aluminum A356 or AISI 316 stainless steel.
How does data reach the control system?
Via LoRaWAN 1.0.3 (Class A, ADR) to a base station, then through ROSSMA IIOT-NETS to SCADA via Modbus TCP, MQTT, or REST API. Frequency plans RU-868 and EU-868.
