Overview

Features

The device is supplied with a 3.6V battery.
The ROSSMA IIOT-AMS TILT COUNTER battery is a built-in battery with capacity of 1200/6000/9000/14000/19000/20000 mAh, designed for up to 10 years of service with daily readings and data transmission.

Tilt counting and accumulation is performed continuously. Data packet transmission occurs over wireless network with a period from 1 minute (setting the interval below 1 minute is not recommended to ensure long autonomous operation). Read values are stored in the device memory.

Data transmission period is configurable via wireless network commands. The factory default is 1 transmission per 15 minutes. Data transmission occurs on a timer stored in the device internal memory.

The device operates from a built-in 3.6V battery. The 20 Ah battery capacity is designed for 10 years of service.

With the “Request confirmation” parameter disabled, the device sends current data to the network at the configured interval. There is no packet delivery verification in this mode. No undelivered packets remain in the device memory.

Device communication timing is controlled via the LoRaWAN network server and can be adjusted by command.

Purpose

Designed for use with devices and mechanisms where it is necessary to monitor the presence of oscillation (tilt) of moving parts. Contains two sensitive elements for tilt registration.

The switch can be used at industrial facilities, housing and utilities infrastructure, and hard-to-reach locations (manholes, basements). The switch enables installation of measuring instruments in places without power sources and operates in harsh climatic and weather conditions.

Equipment is registered in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation as equipment manufactured on the territory of the Russian Federation (Conclusion 48859/11 dated June 11, 2021).

Operating Algorithm

Counting and accumulation of housing tilts is performed continuously. Packet transmission with counted data is performed via wireless network with period from 1 minute.

Recommendation: Do not set intervals less than 1 minute to ensure long autonomous operation.

Operating Modes

With delivery confirmation (Confirmed):

  • Switch sends next packet only after receiving confirmation of previous delivery
  • If confirmation not received after 3 retries, communication session ends
  • Unsent data is saved to memory and transmitted in next session
  • Advantage: guaranteed data delivery
  • Disadvantage: increased power consumption

Without confirmation (Unconfirmed):

  • Switch sends data at specified interval
  • No packet delivery verification
  • No unsent packets remain in memory
  • Advantage: minimum power consumption
  • Disadvantage: possible data loss

Transmission Period Configuration

Data transmission period is configured via wireless network commands:

  • Default: once per 15 minutes
  • Minimum: 1 minute (not recommended for long autonomous operation)
  • Maximum: unlimited

Communication time management is performed via LoRaWAN network server and can be adjusted by command.
