LED Indication

The meter-switch has indicators ACT (trigger), Lora (sending/receiving data via LoRaWAN network). The meter-switch has a RESET button – device reset, pressing which causes device reboot.

First Start

ATTENTION! Calibration is mandatory for proper device operation. Without calibration, VPM cannot correctly determine valve position.

Connecting the meter-switch to power must be done in the following order:

  1. Mount the meter-switch on the valve according to mounting type
  2. Unscrew screws (4 pcs) securing cover to housing base
  3. Remove cover
  4. Set valve to extreme position by turning wheel fully right or left until it stops

IMPORTANT! Before powering on, ensure the valve is in extreme position (fully open or fully closed).

  1. Turn on battery power
  2. Enable "Calibration" mode by installing jumper on contacts. When calibration mode is enabled, ACT indicator will light up
  3. Perform full open/close cycle of the valve, returning it to initial position (position before installing jumper)
  4. Disable "Calibration" mode by removing jumper from contacts
  5. Check indication:
    • One long indication - calibration successful ✅
    • Ten short indications + two long indications - number of valve open-close rotations does not match
    • Ten short indications + three long indications - no rotation was performed

On calibration error: Repeat procedure from step 4. Ensure valve completes full open/close cycle.

  1. Close cover

TIP: Do not close cover until successful calibration! This allows quick procedure repetition if necessary.
