Joint solution of ROSSMA and EMIS
"EMIS-Plast 220" is now able to work with wireless data transmission using LoRaWAN network
The self-powered “EMIS-Plast 220” rotating vane flowmeter is able to work with wireless data transmission in LoRaWAN network using a measuring and switching device from ROSSMA company (Perm).
The new technology was successfully tested in November 2020. During the tests, the LoRaWAN modem was connected to the “EMIS-Plast 220” electronic unit via the RS-485 interface, while the electronic unit of the flowmeter was powered by a battery built into the LoRaWAN modem. Accumulated volumetric flow values were read by digital output and transmitted to upper level by means of radio signal.
